Item ARCTIC POLICY of THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION(2021-11-14) AKKOYUN, Merve; GÜLSEVEN, AslıArctic, the northernmost point of the world, has always attracted attention from history to the present day. Arctic has been an important point in people's desire to explore, even in times when transportation and communication were very difficult. Nowadays, especially with the global warming, the melting of the glaciers has facilitated transportation to the region. With the discovery of gas, oil and other mineral reserves in the region, states that do not have a coast in the region as well as the states of the region want to benefit from Arctic as a world heritage. Russia as an important power in the region it does not want to lose his superiority in Arctic toward to other powers and therefore attaches importance to increasing his military and economic power in the region. In this study, the impact of Russia's economic policy in Arctic on its relations with other powers in the region will be examined on the basis of states, organizations and projects.
