Abstract
Depremler, binalar üzerinde gerek yapısal gerek yapısal olmayan hasarlar
bırakarak insan hayatını olumsuz yönde etkilemektedir. Afet ve acil durumlar
kavramları açıklanarak deprem olgusuna ulaşılmış ve kavramlar üzerinde gerekli
tanımlamalar yapılmıştır. Bu çalışmada, depremin binalar üzerinde bıraktığı etkiler
incelenmiştir. Yapısal hasarların yanı sıra özellikle yapısal olmayan hasarların
üstünde durulmuştur. Binalar üzerinde gözlenen hasarların, can ve mal kayıplarının
minimuma indirilebilmesi için çözüm önerileri ve örnek uygulamalar, ilgili
yönetmelikler incelenerek sunulmuştur. Bu uygulamaların nasıl yapılacağı görseller
aracılığıyla açıklanmıştır. Depremden etkilenen mekân örnekleri ile alınması gereken
önlemlerin önemi bir kez daha görülmüştür. İç mekân düzenlemelerinde alınması
gereken bu önlemlerle ters orantılı şekilde deprem olgusunun insan hayatındaki
olumsuz etkisi değişecektir. Bu çalışmada, deprem ülkesinde yaşayan insanların
bilinçlendirilmesi ve alması gereken önlemlerin vurgulanması amaçlanmış ve sonuç
olarak örnek uygulamalarla birlikte önlemler sıralanmıştır. Tezin sonuç bölümünde,
alınması gereken önlemlere örnek olacak bir konut tasarımı yapılmıştır. Konut
tasarımı bir stüdyo daire üzerinden yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın içerisinde stüdyo daire
kavramına ulaşabilmek için konutların gelişimi ve çeşitleri anlatılmıştır.

Risk Managment For Disaster and Emergency Situations
for Studio Apartments in Interior Design: An Example of Modelling for Earthquakes
ABSTRACT: Earthquakes negatively affect human life by leaving both structural and non structural damages on buildings. By explaining the concepts of disaster and emergency situations, the earthquake phenomenon has been reached and necessary definitions have been made on the concepts. In this study, the effects of the earthquake on the buildings were examined. In addition to structural damages, especially non-structural damages were emphasized. In order to minimize the damages, loss of life and property observed on buildings, solution suggestions and sample applications are presented by examining the relevant regulations. How to make these applications is explained through visuals. The importance of the precautions to be taken with the examples of the places affected by the earthquake has been seen once again. Negative effects of the earthquake phenomenon on human life will change inversely with these measures that should be taken in interior arrangements. In this study, it is aimed to raise awareness of people living in earthquake country and to emphasize the precautions to be taken, and as a result, measures are listed with sample applications. In the concluding part of the thesis, a house design has been made that will set an example for the precautions to be taken. The housing design is based on a studio apartment. In the study, the development and types of residences are explained in order to reach the concept of studio apartment.
