Abstract
Bu çalışma, bölümlü mağazaların iç mekân tasarımında kurumsal kimliğin nasıl
yansıtıldığını değerlendirmek amacıyla hazırlanmıştır. Birinci bölümde, çalışmanın
kapsamı, amacı ve yöntemi açıklanmıştır. İkinci bölümde, zaman içinde oluşan yeni
perakende sektörü kapsamında gelişen bölümlü mağazaların tanımı ve özellikleri ele
alınmıştır. Günümüz şartlarında, perakendeci işletmecilerin ayakta kalabilmesinin
yollarından birinin kurumsal kimlik olması nedeniyle, bu kimliğin iç mekân tasarımı
aracılığıyla tüketiciye mesaj olarak aktarılması ve akılda kalıcılığının bölümlü
mağazalarda nasıl geliştiği incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde, istikrarlı bir kurumsal
kimliğin, tüketicinin kurum hakkındaki imajını oluşturacak önemli bir araç olarak
görülmesi nedeniyle kurumsal kimlik kavramı tanımlanarak, kimlik ve mekân ilişkisi
araştırılmıştır. Etkili bir kurumsal kimliğe sahip bölümlü mağaza yapılanması için iç
mekân tasarımının bileşenleri ve ögeleri ile kullanıcıya aktarılmak istenen mesajlar
çalışma kapsamına alınmıştır. Dördüncü bölümde, hedeflenen kurumsal kimlik
imajının; dış cephe, logo ve tabela, vitrin, mağaza girişi, plan tipleri, dolaşım şeması,
sergileme elemanları, mobilyalar, donatılar, ödeme noktaları, deneme odaları, renk
ve doku, malzeme, aydınlatma ve diğer etmenler üzerinden okunuyor olması
beklendiğinden, bölümlü mağazaların kurumsal kimliğine etki eden faktörler ele
alınmış, Türkiye’den ve dünyadan örneklerle açıklanmıştır. Elde edilen bütün bilgiler
doğrultusunda beşinci bölümde, güncel iki bölümlü mağaza olan Mudo Concept ve
Boyner Bölümlü Mağazaları’nın iç mekân tasarımı analiz edilmiştir. Seçilen bölümlü
mağazaların iç mekân tasarımındaki kurumsal kimliğin ölçülebilmesi amacıyla 300
kişiyi kapsayan bir anket çalışması yapılmıştır. Kullanıcıların aktardığı verilerle iki
bölümlü mağazanın iç mekân tasarımının da kurumsal kimliği değerlendirilmiş ve
karşılaştırmalı analizi yapılmıştır.

Corporate Identity Analysis in Interior
Design of Department Stores
ABSTRACT: This study aims to evaluate how corporate identity is reflected in interior design of department stores. In the first chapter, the scope, purpose and method of the study are explained. In the second chapter, the definition and characteristics of department stores that developed within the scope of the new retail sector which has been formed over time are discussed. In today's conditions, one of the ways through which retailer businesses can survive is the corporate identity. Thus, how the recognition and memorability of department stores is ensured by the conveyance of this identity as a message to the consumer through interior design is explained in this chapter. In the third chapter, the relationship between identity and space is examined by defining the corporate identity concept because a stable corporate identity is considered a significant means of constructing the image of the enterprise in the eyes of the customers. The components and elements of the interior design as well as the messages to be conveyed to the user are included in the study for a department store configuration with an effective corporate identity. In the fourth chapter, the factors affecting the corporate identity of department stores are addressed and explained with examples from Turkey and the world since it is expected that the targeted corporate image is manifested via the facade, logo and signboard, showcase, store entrance, plan types, circulation diagram, display elements, furnitures and equipments, payment points, fitting rooms, color and texture, material, lighting and other factors. In the light of all the information obtained, interior designs of two current department stores, Mudo Concept and Boyner, is analyzed in the fifth chapter. In order to measure the corporate identity in the interior design of the selected department stores, a survey study was conducted on 300 people. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed in order to evaluate and compare the corporate identity of the interior design of the two department stores.
